Total Environment - Technical Enterprise Architect - Real Estate/Manufacturing Domains

Scope

- Own the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.

- Provides hands-on technical direction to the rest of the team across a range of platforms and technologies.

- Researches and evaluates emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.

- Manage all the Digital Infrastructure (including on-premise infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, network, telecom, desktop and software assets)

- Lead the Architecture, Design, Development, Delivery and Maintenance of all Digital Applications required for the organization.

Responsibility :

- Define and Maintain Future State Roadmap of the Enterprise Technologies and Applications, and work with all stakeholders to ensure current and future business needs are met.

- Gathers and analyzes data and develops architectural requirements at project level.

- Understand the business process, requirements and bring in technology best practices to improve the business process.

- Work closely with the business functional teams and the vendor partners to ensure best practices along the entire development process ensuring a long-term view of the viability and maintenance of the platforms.

- Act as a Technical expert, Project Manager and Business Process expert to manage all aspects of the technology direction and project delivery.

- Oversee the technical outputs from the team to validate the desired business and platform outcome.

- Plan, migrate, manage hosting of applications and tools on cloud platforms across different service providers and manage for optimal utilization, and cost efficiency across Azure and AWS.

- Manage the entire Office 365 infrastructure to ensure support across the organization.

- Setup and standardize development best practices including Agile, DevOps, Code Review, Unit Testing, Test Coverage, CI/CD Platforms etc.

- Guide rest of the team with ensuring right technical decisions are taken, technical design, in-depth code reviews, and ensure all output and delivery is of solid quality.

- Coach rest of the Digital team with upskilling and ensure the team is able to step up for bigger responsibilities

- Assist the Head of Digital Technology with technical insights, market analysis and ability to step in and support all technical decisions related to the product and digital roadmap of the organization.

Accountability :

- Ensure a visible and well-defined Technology (Infrastructure & Applications) roadmap for the organization.

- Provide the right technology architecture and take right decisions for the technology platforms.

- Design and Implement multiple platforms across Infrastructure, Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS), Enterprise Solutions (SAP, Salesforce) and Software Development (across a range of technologies like .NET, React, PHP)

- Develop a short-term and long-term roadmap to how the technology footprint should look like for the organization.

- Bring strong technical chops with strong communication and business process skills to be able to negotiate at all levels of the business and take the right technical decisions.

- Develop right relationships with all the stakeholders, understand the business processes, learn quickly, and come up with the right technology solutions to meet these needs.

Requirements :

- Any Bachelor's degree with a strong Computer Science background

- 10-15 years of IT experience, with exposure to driving Digital Transformation initiatives, especially in Real Estate, Architecture or Manufacturing domains.

- Strong knowledge of modern computer science architectural trends and technologies like Cloud (Azure, AWS), Software Development (.NET, React, PHP), CI/CD Solutions, DevOps, Agile.

- Experience in Enterprise Applications like SAP, Salesforce is desirable

- Strong communication skills to be able to work across all levels of the organization.

- 6-10 years of experience as a Hands-on Developer who would have progressed into Technical Architect roles.
