- Establishes IT goals and timelines for projects.

- Recommends upgrades and systems for purchase.

- Oversees implementation and integration of computer systems.

- Ensures security of all information and computer systems and digital data.

- Troubleshoots and finds solutions for computer systems issues as they arise.

- Manages IT staff and makes sure internal and external user needs are being met.

- Serves as member of executive team and takes part in long-term business growth strategizing.

- Ensures adherence to government regulations and guidelines for technological systems and safeguarding of data.

- Analyses system usage and processes to determine how to optimize return on investment, improve information technology systems, and foster business growth.

- Research and forecasts emerging computing trends.

- Integrates new software and platforms into existing computer systems to ensure that technology is optimized.

- Develops and maintains IT budget.

- Establishes maintenance checks and other technology infrastructure monitoring strategies.

Education, Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer or software engineering, or information systems; MBA or other master's level degree a plus

- Certification on Cloud, ITIL, Analytics, SAP preferred.

- Overall, 25 + years of experience preferably in utility, chemical or manufacturing industry.

- Working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols

- 3-5 years' supervisory or management experience in a technology role

- 5-7 years' experience in IT or data management-
