Based out of Mumbai, Toppr currently caters to 40L+ registered students in classes 5-12, who are taking advantage of its deep-structured content and powerful adaptive algorithms. Toppr has experienced phenomenal top line growth (500% over the last year) at a significant contribution margin, making it one of the few sustainable start-ups in the Indian ecosystem. The company has sales offices in 24 cities from where students can get access to further counseling assistance. The aim is to double the city presence by the end of 2018.

Responsibilities:

- Use and implement basic and advanced statistical techniques like SQL,Python and R to identify key actionable insights from the data

- Demonstrate skills in understanding customer needs and priorities to carry out operational planning and to set and manage expectations with a diverse set of business stakeholders and senior management.

- Wrangling data from multiple sources including sales, product, and customer databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making along with stakeholders

- Model data in order to create reporting infrastructure/dashboards for business process management and data mining.

Functional skills required to execute the role:

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, both quantitative and qualitative. Should have good understanding of data management and collection, modelling and interpretation across complex data sets

- Excellent interpersonal skills to exercise considerable judgement in building relationships across all levels in the organization. Works collaboratively across functions to create buy-in to achieve deliverable.

Requirements:

- B.Tech/MBA from Tier 1 institute

- Candidates coming from consulting background (Fractal Analytics, Dunnhumby, EXL, Mu Sigma) will be preferred.
