ABOUT THE ROLE :

Toppr is looking for its Associate Vice President (AVP) - Marketing Performance. As an AVP, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end performance of marketing. You- ll lead and support new initiatives that drive growth at Toppr, which will require you to :

- Define marketing performance measures as an input for budgeting and planning to drive better marketing strategy decisions.

- Plan, execute and track integrated marketing strategy with a mix of Digital, ATL, and BTL.

- Partner closely with Sales, Product and Finance teams to improve planning and performance.

- Drive Toppr's internal marketing team while working closely with 3rd party vendors to seamlessly execute campaigns.

- Work with the Analytics team to hypothesize, monitor, and report on campaign results.

HOW YOU'LL RAMP :

Induction programme :

- Understand Toppr's journey, its values and mission.

- Spend time with the Marketing, Product, Sales and Finance teams to get up-to-speed on Toppr's offering, its competition, and future outlook.


Day 30 :


- Conduct research : Explore and analyze the best marketing channels for Toppr. Basis your research, predict the response of the campaign. The goal is positive ROI.

- Understand marketing performance objectives of Toppr : Define the objectives and key results (OKRs) that Toppr's marketing strategy must achieve.

- Plan and execute marketing proposals : Based on your research, plan and prepare the marketing plan. Present this plan to the stakeholders and incorporate their feedback into final plan.

Day 90 :

- Track performance: Set up a tracking mechanism to measure the effectiveness of the marketing campaign.

- Evaluate performance: Generate analysis of market performance. Measure the impact of work and use data to refine priorities.

- Refine execution: Make decisions based on data and stay ahead of the curve aiming for the best ROI.

- Add new members to your team: Recruit, develop, and retain talented and motivated employees.

WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED... SO FAR :

- Education: MBA/PGDM from Tier I Business School and/or B. Tech. from a Tier I college (IITs,BITS, NITs).

Experience :

- 2+ years working experience in the consulting industry managing various projects across growth, strategy, or marketing

- Hands-on experience in marketing analytics and consulting is an advantage.

Knowledge: Commercial acumen

Soft Skills :

- Calculated risk-taking: Intuitiveness to experiment, run a pilot campaign, measure its results and then take a call to scale up.

- Analytical: Keen interest in evaluating product/market situations, analyzing data, and transforming it into actionable marketing strategies.

- Leadership: Help the team members understand the big picture so that they can connect their success back to the success of the business.

- Communication: Ability to convey the right message and build a connect with people.

- Self-driven: Willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
