Toppr is India's best learning app that provides personalized learning for K-12 students Toppr was founded in 2013 and is backed by Saif Partners, Helion Ventures and Fidelity Growth Partners (Eight Road Ventures). Based out of Mumbai, Toppr currently caters to 20L+ registered students in classes 5-12, who are taking advantage of its deep-structured content and powerful adaptive algorithms.
Toppr has experienced phenomenal top line growth (400% over the last year) at a significant contribution margin, making it one of the few sustainable start-ups in the Indian ecosystem. The company has sales offices in 15+ cities from where students can get access to further counselling assistance. The aim is to double the city presence over the next few months
About the Team

We help them understand how to leverage Toppr platform for their learning
We strive to take Toppr to every single household in India; and then the world.
Role & Responsibilities
- As mini CEOs, independently lead business units at Toppr; take end-to-end P&L ownership for your BU.
- Define, develop and use metrics to drive the vision and manage a business unit independently.
- Build and motivate teams to achieve Top-line (~INR 100Cr/$16M annualised) and profit targets for your Business Unit and ensure month-on-month growth.
- Create the strategies that steer the BU team including overall organization structure, hiring, compensation, sales targets, lead generation and management, territory optimization etc.
- Drive consistent sales goal setting processes (with RMs and Sales Managers) and design sales incentive plans, partnering with cross-functional teams and sales leadership
- Establish brand's value and ensure brand value's consistency across all media channels i.e., TV, Print, Social Media and BTL activities (e.g., events, seminars)
- Leverage internal tools (CRM, Sales app) to drive efficiencies in operational processes
- Ensure quality assurance methods and metrics are in place for operational excellence

- Have distinctive problem solving and written & verbal communication skills
- Possess excellent team building and people management abilities
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Come with strong data management, and analytics experience
Qualification & Skills
- MBA/PGDBM from Tier I Business School and/or B. Tech. from a Tier I college (IITs, BITS, NITs)
- Minimum 5 years work experience with 2+ years managing large teams with operational complexity
- Experience with sales/operations function at an FMCG company
