TL/Associate - FP&A & MI Reporting - BFSI

An MNC Banking Captive unit is setting up a new MI team in th FP&A area to support their global operations for which a team of Associates and Team leads are being recruited.

Job Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Daily and Monthly process in delivery and execution of Business Services including support working with Onshore MI & DS Management

- Lead FP&A and MI reporting for the country / region for any particular cost centre.

- Ensure quality value-add cost commentaries and variance explanations to prior month, prior year, forecasts and budgets

- Responsible for inputs and support into provision of cost commentaries into the Monthly Country MI Packs to Country CFOs.

- Supporting onshore Managers in provision of Cost MI and DS and involves direct stakeholder / customer engagement with APAC Regional Support Heads and Business Management.

- Activities cover all related ad-hoc Cost analysis.

- Assign, manage and drive the team’s Daily and Monthly deliverables, including ad hoc requests as received. Ensure clear ownership and accountability within the team.

- Have awareness of the inter-relationship and wider Cost Fiancials including and not limiting to Logistics and Functions, other than Business Services.

- Liaison and interaction with month end Cost Financial Control team in understanding of booked costs to appropriate relevant cost centres.

- Support the development and delivery of related GFS strategic objectives, creating team excellence and knowledge sharing cross teams.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- CA, CA Inter, CWA, CWA Inter, or MBA with excellent finance and accounting knowledge.

- 1-2 years experience for analyst and 2 to 5 years of experience for associate role in a Bank's captive finance unit, with extensive experience in the MI Reporting and Decision support operations.

- Must have experience managing teams and interacting with global clients / stake holders.

- Hands on experience in all financial and accounting software tools

- Knowledge of Hyperion, Khalix , Cognos tools

- Good people & communication skills.
