Develop and approve the annual business plan for the Region in- line with the overall business plan and create a sales plan cascaded to the region, store and brand level for accessories & fragrances in coordination with the relevant stakeholders 2. Review and provide countermeasures on the sales performance against the plan on a regular basis 3. Develop and approve the network expansion strategies on an annual basis in line with the business needs - Annual business plan - Year on Year business growth Sales: Sales Execution: Merchandise Replenishment 1. Provide inputs and coordinate with the merchandising team on defining the product mix or modifying the same for a new store of a retail or trade 2. Support and guide the ABMs and SOs in negotiating the merchandising mix, margins and returns in retail & trade 3. Identify the fast-moving products in the channel and coordinate with the marketing teams to build a favourable new product pipeline and maximize channel profitability - Under-performing product list - Channel productivity - Increase in sales - Sales: Sales Planning: Trade Policy Management 4. Create a proposal for the terms of trade for distributors & dealers and conduct periodic reviews and updation and manage changes if any - Trade policy - Customer satisfaction scores 5. Create warranty norms for products under this channel based on trends of sales and complaints 6. Identify and evaluate new distributors under this channel and 7. Identify and evaluate the exits of distributor based on their performance and propose their retirals - Channel productivity Sales: Trade & Retail operations 1. Manage, track and ensure the ranking of the brand in all the trade & retail outlet 2. Identify operational issues/ glitches and approve countermeasures for the stores to ensure smooth sales 3. Approval the return to vendor(RTV) SKUs from the list of proposed SKUs in coordination with the merchandising team and ensure the process of stock return - Annual store development schedule - Adherence to timelines - Store ranking Sales: Trade Operations: Network expansion 1. Provide broad guidelines for the negotiate with the trade partners on the most favourable location for the display of products in the store 2. Coordinate with the trade partners and the merchandising teams to identify and approve the product mix in the new stores - Store layouts - Space utilization percentage Sales: Trade Operations: Training and development 1. Identify and approve the training needs and coordinate with relevant stakeholders in conducting them for store staff as per a pre-defined training calendar 2. Provide inputs in developing training content for regional field teams based on requirements identified - Annual training calendar - Effectiveness of training - Improvement in sales People & Talent Management 1. Drive a culture of diversity, performance and transparency in the region and ensure the employees in the region are engaged. 2. Conduct interviews to support selection for critical positions in the stores with coordination from the HR teams 3. Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach. 4. Ensure talent pipeline is created by succession planning for critical positions in the region. 5. Set Objectives for Reportees aligned to the organizational /functional. 6. Liaise with HR on vacant positions. 7. Conduct recruitment interviews for key positions in the region; Monitor the implementation of the Sales Training.
