Design : Strategy Development : Design Calendar

1. Provide inputs to the development of the design / merchandising calendar based on the understanding of trends in the fashion, color shades, designs, etc.

2. Review the range plan from the merchandising team and plan the vendor visit and procurement

Design : Design Development : In house

1. Create a range with technical drawing as per range plan and present to team for approval.

2. Undertake visit to the vendor to develop as per the specifications in the collection plan based on range plan approved designs.

3. Evaluate the collection for its fabric, craft, craftsmanship, shades, price etc. to ensure that the product justify the price

4. Ensure that the vendor developed samples meets the specifications as per the range plan and make the required system entry.

5. Ensure that the purchase order is released by the purchase team, product picked up and delivered by the CFA team

6. To work with marketing team if required for product shoot or campaign so that the communication to customer goes in right way.

Design : Buying : Vendor Co- Creation

1. Participate in the requirement discussion with the merchandising team for vendor co- creation of RTW categories.

2. Brief the vendors on the design and review the design concept developed by the vendors / suggest modifications in the existing product developed by the vendors to align with the requirements

3. Move the concept to the mill for the development of the prototype post garnering required approvals from the merchandising team and senior stakeholders on the design & price range

4. Ensure that the production of the product is carried out as per the PO from the merchandising team and product delivered within the timelines

Design : Vendor Management

1. Explore new vendors and identify those vendors basis their offerings, capabilities, craftsmanship to partner with the firm

2. Evaluate the vendor performance periodically and determine contract renewal / continuation decisions
