Times OMS- Sales Manager Film Industry

Role Description : Preparation and execution of sales plan for the assigned vertical (Film Industry) , manage growth in business by increasing spends from existing clients and tapping new clients with the objective of achieving revenue targets as per plan and ensuring sustained growth.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Generate advertising business from the Film Industry via advertising , advertorials , social media monetization and other TOI products.

2. Keep track of the film industry ; release dates , production houses , actors etc.

3. Build relationships with the film industry people ; producers , directors , agencies , actors etc which will result in business from them.

4. Plan effectively for achieving targets in the assigned vertical and provide revenue projections with detailed clear plans on how to achieve them.

5. Business development ; analyzing new possibilities of business growth and expansion.

6. To do advance revenue planning to meet targets i.e. plan special projects/features/initiatives etc

7. Initiate regular interactions with key critical clients to sustain/increase revenue from existing accounts and building network of newer clients.

8. Liaise with media planners/event managers/PR agencies for ideation, keep track of major publicity events planned by clients

9. Monitoring Film activities, map client spends and offer solutions to increase revenue from a client/category.

10. To liaise with editorial team in order to facilitate routine work

11. Troubleshooting related to execution of sales (coordinate with edit/scheduling/business operations/client for closure of sale)

12. Audit the quality of content being sent for publishing.

13. . Ensure timely collection of payments from clients with Zero bad debts for the company.

14. . Other duties as assigned.

Background - Telugu Film industry connect mandatory. Someone who has handled film business and has inroads into the same .

Spoken and written English mandate .

Must be familiar with Microsoft office - XLS, email , etc .

Sales background mandate .
