Senior Manager - Corporate Strategy
A. Broad Scope & Purpose:
- This role will be a part of the CEO's office at BCCL, responsible for providing research and strategy support for key business decisions and program management for key strategic initiatives.
- The ideal candidate for the role will be an MBA from a top ten business school, with 4-6 years of prior consulting or corporate strategy experience, and exposure to the media and technology verticals.
B. Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work (SoW):
Market Intelligence on Media and Technology Trends:
- Be the custodian within the organization of market intelligence on media and technology trends, including - Big Tech partnerships with news publishers, use of Gen AI in media companies, and emergent revenue streams for news media companies.
- Provide research, market intelligence, and strategy support for key business decisions, combining external trends and insights with internal priorities.
Program Management on Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Revenue Diversification Initiatives
- Provide program management support on digital transformation initiatives, including - use of Gen AI for reskilling and productivity improvements, use of technology to support new revenue streams, and integration of the print and digital organizations.
- Provide program management support for innovation and revenue diversification initiatives, including - working with cross-functional teams to map market opportunities, generate external insights, design solutions, and create the go-to-market strategy.
- Provide program management support for initiatives to create a culture of continuous daily improvement, from insights to ideas to implementation.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, stakeholders, and external partners to deliver on the organization's transformation agenda.
