Overview of the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic, Chief of Staff to one of the leaders of Times of India Group.

The role would encompass providing strategic support for Management Control and review of businesses. It will involve managing coordination of the Executive Office in all facets of business operations including day-to-day management, execution of special initiatives and oversight of the Office, analysis and presentation of relevant organization data, supporting the planning process by providing requisite info & data and preparation of executive summary & periodic forecasts for his appraisal.

Key Responsibilities :

- Advance the priorities as articulated by the Executive, oversee and ensure execution of special projects

- Work with executive management to analyze business opportunities and process improvement programs

- Represent the views and agendas of the Executive office

- Prepare necessary financial models and profitability reports related to business ventures or new launches

- Ensure coordination of and from the Executive Office

- Proactively identify issues that could impact the successful execution of the Executive's priorities

- Updating projections, monitoring outcomes, and recommending suitable actions on a regular basis Detailed Analysis of Business Plans - Scenario Planning, Demand Estimation, Readership/Circulation Analysis, Product-wise Profitability, Cost Comparisons

- Compile information on industry trends; Track industry growth and conduct competitor analysis.

- Provide inputs on economic trends (local & global ) & emerging technologies for internal review

Ideal Candidate :

Ideal candidate will be a person with a business Management Degree from Tier-1 institutes and 12-14 years of experience preferably in consulting industry. The role of the COS adjusts with every new innovation in technology, shift in business strategy, or change in the global economy. Ideal candidate for this role will bend to meet every curve, yet stand straight and firm to push through obstacles. This person will have the remarkable capability to repeatedly reinvent him/herself, to hit the ground running, bounce back, and renew themselves again and again, hour after hour, day after day.
