Location: 100% work from home-Tilt is a remote-first company

Salary: Rs. 18 lac per annum.

Probation Period: Three months.

About the Company

At Tilt, we deploy shared bicycles and e-bikes in apartment complexes. We provide affordable and sustainable mobility for their communities. We are a fast-growing, well-funded, early-stage company and have raised capital from Y Combinator (which is considered one of the world's most successful startup investors, and was the first investor in Airbnb, Doordash, Coinbase, Dropbox, Meesho, Razorpay, Groww, Khatabook, etc), and several other angels and VCs.

Why we're hiring for this role

For the past 4 years, we've been passive marketers with a little m.

We sign up new campuses, launch our bikes, do a small WhatsApp inauguration, and are basically never seen again. We've gotten by on the strength of our product, the curiosity of our users, and the incredibly generous word-of-mouth promotion from our customers. We're fortunate it's been working.

We want to double down on our early success and ensure our early adopters become our customers for life.

We lack a Marketing strategy with a capital M. It's time to change that. How's that challenge sound to you?

About the Job :

Analyzing data at the individual user, apartment complex and level

- Developing an engagement calendar (using channels like app notifications, email, SMS and WhatsApp) that is relevant to our users, and drives up overall retention

- Developing new engagement programs, experimenting aggressively, and prioritizing initiatives to increase the overall engagement levels of different new user cohorts

- Tracking every stage of the funnel, and taking corrective action wherever required

- New Rider acquisition

- Building generalized and targeted campaigns for new user acquisition

- You have used the below tools, or tools similar to them, to execute campaigns: Analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel and Metabase

- Marketing automation tools like Marketo, Hubspot, Customer.io, MoEngage/Clevertap etc

- Data platforms like Segment

- Advertising platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn

- Communication tools like SendGrid, Sendinblue, Twilio Outcomes

If you do your job right, the following things will happen:

Cohort retention goes up

The median number of rides taken by riders will increase

The number of users converting at each stage of the funnel (pre sign up - sign up - first ride - nth ride - repeat habit of cycling few times per week) will go up substantially

Fundamentally, this job is about developing and executing strategies to increase the efficiency of each stage of our funnel at each of our campuses. This isn't a job for self-described growth hackers. This is an impact position-in time, the business should look better with you on board, with a clear case of before and after.
