About the role : Tiger seeks a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our Data Science Practice. The person will play a pivotal role in project delivery and pre-sales engagements. This unique opportunity requires a candidate who can seamlessly transition between hands-on technical work and client-facing pre-sales activities. As a key member, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our data science offerings and contributing to our growth trajectory.

Desired Skills and Experience :

Project Delivery (50%)

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deeply understand client requirements and deliver bespoke data science solutions.

- Lead end-to-end data science projects, including data exploration, feature engineering, modelling, and deployment, ensuring high technical excellence.

- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment and nurturing a continuous learning and innovation culture.

- Ensure the successful implementation of data-driven solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

Pre-Sales and Client Engagement (50%)

- Engage with potential clients to comprehensively understand their business challenges, actively contributing to the pre-sales process.

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to create compelling pre-sales collateral, including detailed proposals, impactful presentations, and persuasive case studies.

- Conduct engaging product demonstrations, workshops, and technical discussions, showcasing the value proposition of our data science solutions.

- Act as a technical advisor during sales, providing valuable insights and expertise to potential clients to demonstrate our capabilities.

Qualifications :

- Master's or Bachelors in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modelling.

- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful data science projects, with a keen eye for technical detail.

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Demonstrated experience in client engagement, understanding client needs, and translating them into impactful data science solutions.
