About the role - - We are looking for Director - Technology Consulting (Big Data)- preferably based out of - Chennai- - Handling the overall Delivery Management (in terms of Cost, Quality, Schedule) for multiple projects within an account or a portfolio of accounts - This would involve you driving and delivering multiple analytical and Data Engineering projects to partner team across client requirement - Taking the lead on problem scoping, vendor resource planning, solution design sprints, solution development, QA & Implementation. - Setting up of processes for delivery,including program documentation, Internal/external review & quality assurance - Setting up the offshore team by interacting with multiple internal stakeholders such as talent management, administration & operations teams - Ensuring thought leadership by working closely with the Data Science/Analytics/Engineering SME's to bring in best practices, drive best in class solution delivery and knowledge in the engagement - Collaborate with L&D team for scaling up the team's technical capabilities and to identify technology vendor partnerships wherever applicable - Set up & drive overall Governance at both Steering Committee as well Program Management - office level through relevant KPIs / metrics & agenda. - Proactively identify risks and issues. Create mitigation plans and communicate the same to Client and Tiger stakeholders as and when necessary. - You will also understand & leverage Tiger Analytics Accelerators and / or business solutions and Tiger Way - consisting of best practices in delivering client programs, to improve time-to-value on client programs, and to balance client & team satisfaction. - You will be collaborating with sales leaders to create the right POVs and proposals to help win new clients and grow our work with existing or new clients. Required Skills, Competencies & Experience: - 15+ Years of overall experience with at least 7+ years of experience in managing Delivery for large sized (75+ Offshore headcount) accounts or a portfolio of accounts. - Ability to demonstrate solutions around Big Data and handling end to end delivery of cloud-based data Lake implementations. - Good understanding of various Big data ecosystems that involves Data pipeline, compute, harmonization techniques, data governance, distributed data computing methods, etc. - Good experience around Modern DWH systems, scaling data science models, cloud adoption (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment involving multiple client and other vendor stakeholders. - Ability to collaborate & build relationships with Director / VP level stakeholders (will involve occasional travel). - Demonstrate executive presence in interactions with CXO level stakeholders.
