About TiE Mumbai:

TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) is a Global organization with 61 chapters across the globe. TiE Mumbai is one of the most vibrant and fastest growing entrepreneurial ecosystems in the TiE Network dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship. TiE Mumbai currently works towards growing and supporting the entrepreneurial community across various sectors, of which few of them are mentioned below:

TiE Food Network (TFN), an initiative towards encouraging and supporting entrepreneurship in the foodspace, by providing entrepreneurs with a platform where they can network, learn and get mentored.

Media and Entertainment Network by TiE (MENT) works towards enabling and empowering entrepreneurs in the media & entertainment industry across Mumbai & Pune. Healthcare Network @ TiE (HE@T) is an effort to build an active community of healthcare entrepreneurs, investors and service providers to make the Mumbai healthcare ecosystem the best in the country.

The Technology Network - TiE IQ Boot Camp - TiE Mumbai supports entrepreneurs into tech space via a 2 month accelerator program to take their product to the next level. The boot camp is a 60 day - no contract - no equity - no fees program for the startups in the technology space.

TiE Mumbai offers rich resource pool to an Entrepreneur and fulfills its mandate of - fostering entrepreneurship- through mentoring, educational, inspirational and networking programs for the entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities of TiE Mumbai Executive Director:

- Leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Trustees

- Overall responsibility on the day to day activities, chapter health & growth

- Leading, managing & executing activities, events, workshops, programs, signature events, with the involvement and support of Charter Members (CMs).

- Renewal of CM enrollment, identify new CM's and proposing it to the board for approval.

- Charter Member engagement

- Building TiE value, brand

- Raising sponsorships

- Planning and Co-ordinating Board Meetings

- Coordinating with TiE Global on Global initiatives and activities

- Managing the financials, HR and administrative activities of the chapter

- Leading and managing partnerships with other organizations that would add value to TiE Mumbai members

- Working with other TiE Chapter ED's on best practice sharing and collaborative activities

- Working with the Board and TiE Team on new initiatives and innovation

Expected qualification of the candidate:

The ED will be thoroughly committed to TiE Mumbai's mission. All candidates should have proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience. Concrete demonstrable experience and other qualifications include:

- 12-15 years of senior management experience; track record of effectively leading organizations, preferably educational or not for profit organizations.

- Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget

- Past success working with a Board of Directors / Trustees with the ability to cultivate existing board member relationships

- Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills

- Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning

- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people

- Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
