The role: A Sales expert to change how we hire technologists

You are exceptionally skilled at selling complex technology concepts to customers. You enjoy the thrill of the chase, but also have the patience to cultivate a deal for years. You- re also excited by all the disruptive technologies coming to our industry - Big Data, 3D printing, Bitcoin or Internet of Things.

But amidst all that excitement, there's also something holding you back. You don- t want to deal with purchasing departments anymore. Crisscrossing the city daily is no more fun. And the relentless pressure to meet numbers by hook or by crook is wearing you down. You just want an opportunity to do what you do best - talk big ideas with people and sell high-impact solutions.

Recruiting is becoming very challenging; just like Sales

Over the years, we have observed that recruiting follows the same principles of sales. Though terminologies might differ, recruiters follow the same approach of creating a need, developing relationships, overcoming objections, tenaciously follow up, close the deal! Your Key Activities

- Find exceptionally talented people in emerging fields like Internet of Things and Data Science. You could do it through social media, your network, networks of other ThoughtWorkers, or using any other creative method you can think of. You will enjoy wide latitude!

- Tell talented senior technologists why ThoughtWorks would be a great fit for them.

- Guide them (and our leaders) through our interview process.

- Negotiate offers, positions and hand hold candidates until they on board

- Working with our technical and marketing teams to create communities of technical people that we could tap into in the long term.

Your Skills and Experience

- 3-6 years in selling technology/digital solutions. Experience in Recruiting is NOT necessary - we will teach you about that in a few months.

- Ability to map organisations and talent market

- Jugaad.

- The emotional intelligence required to see others- viewpoints and bring people together.

- The ability to cultivate a deal for a long-time.

- An intense interest in people.

- Intellectual curiosity, tenacity
