About Role

The primary task of a CPG analytics consultant would be to align themselves to a CPG account, understand the landscape and set the roadmap for analytics related initiatives for the client/account. Through analytics solutioning and delivery, the consultant would help the client achieve their current delivery objectives while building their long-term capabilities.

The person must have direct working experience with the CPG industry, to be able to gauge the current landscape of the target company and then set a realistic path to achieve the objectives highlighting the benefits of implementing the initiatives.

Program Lead :

- Define project goals, objectives and key performance indicators

- Plan, execute and monitor analytics projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget

- Manage project risks and issues

- Experience in stakeholder management, driving project governance and linking analytics to business value

- Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting :

- Collaborate with other team on collection of data from various sources, internal and external

- Ensure data quality and consistency

- Coordinate data analysis efforts to extract meaningful insights and patterns in the context of client decision-making

- Generating regular reports and dashboards for stakeholders

Knowledge of AI/ML/DS techniques :

- Knowledge of DS/ ML / AI techniques - when and why they are used and interpretation of results from a business viewpoint

- In depth understanding of how analytics is used in decision-making in one or more industries/functional areas

- Ability to translate high level business problems to an analytics problem statement

- Experience in scoping, development, validation & deployment of explanatory, predictive, and prescriptive analytic solutions

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

- Proficiency in data analytics tools, programming languages, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
