Role Summary:

- CPG stands for Consumer-Packaged Goods. The primary task of a CPG analytics consultant would be to align themselves to a CPG account, understand the landscape and set the roadmap for analytics related initiatives for the client/account.

- Through analytics solutioning and delivery, the consultant would help the client achieve their current delivery objectives while building their long-term capabilities.

- The person must have direct working experience with the CPG industry, to be able to gauge the current landscape of the target company and then set a realistic path to achieve the objectives highlighting the benefits of implementing the initiatives.

Job Description:

- Develop a good understanding on the current Data & Analytics landscape of the client

- Build a detailed tech driven strategy and roadmap by working closely with the business and executives.

- Work with Data Scientists, Analytics Consultants and Engineering teams to deliver Use cases.

- Establish the pillars of Data Analytics for the company - Data Foundation, Data Governance, Data

- Mobility and Advanced Data Analytical Use cases

- Work closely with the client to gather business requirements, communicate project plan and updates and present ideas and analyses to stakeholders.

- Be the subject matter expert on the team

Requirements:

- Exposure to functional & domain specific use cases in CPG, a few are mentioned as below :

a. pricing & promotion analytics

b. e-commerce & retail analytics

c. customer & omni channel analytics

d. control towers (manufacturing/logistics)

e. quality assurance and asset analytics

f. demand forecasting and inventory optimization

g. spend & procurement analytics

- More than 5 years of experience in Consulting/Pre Sales for Data & Analytics

- Understanding of latest technical advancements and Domain related use cases in the industry

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Can take complete ownership on the work and work with multiple vendors and stakeholders
