Senior Analyst - Tech Finance FP&amp;A and Internal Management Reporting: - FP&amp;A and Internal Management Reporting- provides financial excellence and business partnership in the administration of financial reporting and financial processes, supporting all of Thomson Reuters Business Units and Business Operations Services functions. We drive business partnership and standardization across the groups by utilizing appropriate tools and ensure proper transfer of knowledge to increase effectiveness and efficiency. In addition, we identify opportunities to enhance and drive informational analysis and reporting in support of strategies. Description: Designation: Senior Analyst Educational Qualification: - B. Tech (ECE/ CSE /IT) - Post graduate in management - Finance (PGDM/ MBA/ BCA+MBA/ MCA + MBA) - Strong understanding on Finance and Accounting Professional Experience: - Freshers or 0 - 2 years of experience Technical Expertise(preferred): - Presentation tools like MS-Office (MS-PPT, MS-Excel), Open Office etc - Data Base tools like MS-SQL etc - Experience in Business Intelligence tools like SAP BO, Power BI, Oracle BI, Cognos - Process Automation tools like Alteryx, UiPath, BluePrism, RPA etc - Big Data tools like Python, R, SPSS etc Soft Skill: - Good communication skill - Good at listening and ability to convince for the betterment of the organization - Ability to work with cross cultural team - Positive attitude towards any given work/task Day to Day Responsibility: - Analysis of large data set with automation tool for finance function - Reducing to effort time by automating existing processes - Analysis of product performance and recommending cross sell opportunity of available products - Re-engineering of existing set process - Write SQL query to extract data from the system and helping other functional team members to reduce the given effort time - Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes - Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&amp;L and Balance Sheet - Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports - Financial modelling and analysis - Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained - Constantly supporting the P &amp; L Head in terms of Business Finance Functional inputs. - Attending to Statutory, Internal &amp; Tax Audit for the unit. - Identifying and recommending potential operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures this would include Financial and business and could cover IT. - Maintenance of Books of Accounts for the Unit - Submitting Monthly MIS to the Board &amp; Management - Supporting the P &amp; L head in terms of Reports &amp; Other Financial Advice - Team Building &amp; Training.
