Role: Account Manager Principal responsibilities: - The perfect candidate is a strategic thinker who is extremely analytical and detail oriented, great at multitasking and prioritizing. - As a manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a Kolkata based client and will be responsible for effectively translating client's business requirements into analytical solution frameworks for the team as well as be responsible for coordinating with the team to deliver results. You will have to work out of client-site as and when needed. Desired Skills and Experience: - 5+ years of Data Science experience; 3+ years of team management experience - Leading multiple projects and have extensive experience in Model Development, Validation, Scorecard Development - Works well under pressure; can work within stringent timelines and collaborate across departments to achieve results. - The successful candidate must be a self-starter, be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables end to end, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment. - Must be a true problem solver with outstanding skills in discovery techniques and the proven ability to translate the underlying business needs of requests into actionable items. - Partner closely with business and technical teams of clients to understand their project objectives and provide data-driven solutions and recommendations - Coordinate with business planners and the senior team to translate business questions into verifiable data models and hypothesis - Work hands-on on various analytics problems and provide thought leadership on problems that we are working on and ensure solutions are scalable, repeatable, efficient, and effective - Ability to model the reality of business into equations, and to understand the implications and limitations of a model - Very good programming skills in R - good to have Python - Strong experience in data processing - Good with data visualization (eg. Matplotlib, plot.ly, C3.js, Dataiku, Tableau, QlikView, Highcharts, etc.) Must Have: - Based out of Kolkata or willing to relocate; can join under 4-6 weeks - Hands on experience in Analytics, preferably in the BFSI Space Good to Have: - Developing Credit portfolio models, performing stress testing for Corporate Portfolio &amp; computing risk using Monte Carlo methodologies/backtesting - good to have
