Responsibilities We are looking for a seasoned sales/business development professional to join our Leadership as AVP of Sales & Business Development. - The nature of sales will be consultative and technical. The individual shall be responsible for building and scaling the sales team to achieve Monthly, Quarterly & Annual targets of Sales Qualified leads and Revenue by doing but not limited to the following: - Owning the company's sales function and ensuring it delivers on organizational and functional goals - Creating, planning and implementing sales strategy and business development initiatives - Build and nurture the team to execute the sales game plan; Set, monitor and report on team goals; Craft quarterly and annual hiring plans - Research on market dynamics, competition, and clients and Identify opportunities to reach potential prospects in current and new market segments and expand market share - Leverage sales kits/resources such as proof-of-concepts/reports/workshops to strike meaningful conversations with potential clients to generate qualified leads - Preparing and presenting proposals to the prospect - Enabling seamless negotiations between internal and external stakeholders - Develop strong relationships with key prospects during and after the sales lifecycle - Reconnect and build relationships with cold leads and continuously build the pipeline - Working closely with the marketing team to ensure that the efforts are in alignment with the strategy - Ensure sales function delivers multifold ROI - monitoring performance and changing course to realign strategy and is critical - Present insights to advice and support the Management in running the sales function efficiently and effectively - Rinse and repeat the above to grow the sales function and leverage "thinking differently" to make orbit leaps between each run Qualifications : - Must have built, nurtured & led high performing business development team - Strong business understanding of Technology - Product/Design/Engineering - Proven track record in B2B enterprise level sales in niche IT Services - Comprehensive knowledge of complete sales life cycle management - Exposure to Domestic (India) & International markets (preferably USA but not limited to) - Knowledge of product life cycle management will be a huge plus - 6-10 years of experience - B.Tech/MBA or equivalent degree Key Skills : - Growth Mindset - uncompromising focus on success and processes - Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information - Knows the Inside-out workings of Sales Function - Understands the facets of what makes a "High Performance Sales Team" - Data driven & absolutely tech savvy - Flawless communication skills - Robust negotiation skills with a 'Client First' approach - High degree of professional ethics and integrity - Top notch People Management
