Manager - Accounts (The Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation, Limited) - To prepare standalone financials of the corporation for quarterly limited review and at year end with notes to accounts. - To translate foreign branch accounts into reporting currency of the corporation. - Liaise with external auditors relating to queries/ data requirements for Quarterly limited reviews and annual closing - To handle the accounts, MIS and audit of Corporate office. - To assist in preparation and analysis of Budget of Corporate office. - To compile various information sought by management from divisions - To assist in creating and reviewing policies and procedures and suggest internal control aspects in the same relating to Corporate office. - Liaise with Internal Auditors for all Internal Audit matters relating to Corporate office. - Monitor implementation and adherence to SOP's and also Charter of Authority and highlight non-observations to management. - Assist with information and Analysis for management. - Monitor monthly performance vs Budget and give analysis to the management - Should have good analytical skills - financial and non-financial and should have abilities to put together explanatory notes for the management on the above - Should have basic understanding of consolidation and elimination to consolidate various branch accounts. - Should be well-versed with Indian Accounting Standards (IndAs) - Should be good in Computer skills such as MS office especially in Excel and Power point presentation skills - Should have good writing skills - Should have good co-ordination and communication abilities - Work on improvement of IT systems and manual processes relating to Accounts, Costing, MIS and Budget.
