The Wadia Group - Deputy General Manager - Finance

- Responsible for statutory accounting compliant to IFRS / group guidelines on time.

- Liaise with external auditors relating to queries/ data requirements for Quarterly Reviews and annual closing.

- Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the company by way of timely preparation of annual reports and ensuring analysis of expenditure on a monthly basis to control expenses.

- Monitoring financial performance & submitting MIS reports to the top management to facilitate.

- Decision making process related to profitability, cost of production, Actual Vs Budget analysis and AOP reports.

- To assist in preparation and analysis of Budget

- Handle special projects with emphasis on financial analysis

- To liaison with divisions on feedback on MIS and ratios and financial analysis

- Drive monthly business review against prior year, targets and rolling forecast, identify risks and potentials to support target achievements.

- Lead the Rolling Forecast process P&L and working capital supporting the management

- Effectively manage treasury system and forex operations by implementing best local practices in line with Group policies, influence on bank relationship, manage appropriately currency risks. Optimize working capital and improve cash-flow in line with group policy.

- Should have good analytical skills - financial and non-financial and should have abilities to put together explanatory notes for the management on the above

- Should be good in Computer skills such as MS office especially in Power point presentation skills

- Should have good co-ordination and communication abilities

- Work on improvement of IT systems and manual processes relating to Accounts, Costing, MIS and Budget.
