We are a team found by 4 and 400 people big, with a couple of retail stores in Mumbai and an extremely high online presence.

About the Role

The Souled Store is looking for someone to join the team as the Head of Marketing Strategy with a minimum of 10-14 years of experience with Online Consumer Brands. As the Head of Marketing Strategy at The Souled Store, you will be in charge of leading our organisations marketing efforts. You will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing team by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, engaging in market analytics, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating these plans to those involved, and managing the relevant budgets for marketing and communications spending. Ultimately, you will run our Marketing department in ways that promote higher profitability and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

Strategy Building and Pricing: Crafting strategies for all Marketing teams, including Design, Digital, Advertising, Communications, and Creative. To develop pricing strategies in accordance with the Management and other related departments that will help us maximize profits.

Research and Development: Researching the demand for our products and services. Analyze consumer behaviour and determine customer personas. Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.

Competition: Undertake competitor research and monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes, and new products and features)

Market Analytics and Finances: Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department, including expenditures, research, and development appropriations, return on investment, and profit-loss projections.

Branding: Building brand awareness and positioning. Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing. Make sure that the businesses marketing communications promote the right message to maintain a good brand image.

Manpower Planning and Operations: Craft quarterly and annual hiring plans with HR as per the future requirements of the organisation. To develop an appraisal system and execute it efficiently within the department.

Must Haves

- Ability to lead a team, work collaboratively and manage people.

- Experience with data analytics and high math aptitude.

- Experience in marketing analytics and pricing strategy.

- Prior experience working in merchandising, fashion, e-commerce or digital online space.

- Ability to make quick, fast decisions and work independently.
