Roles and responsibilities Candidate will be working as Fixed Income Research analyst for the securities across the spectrum including Investment Grade, High-Yield, Municipal and distress debt. Manages his / her work independently with end-to-end ownership of client projects. Work types will include- - Preparing comprehensive financial models with forecasting based on in-depth study of operating statistics - Detailed debt structure, maturity schedule and liquidity analysis - Good understanding of financial covenants - Writing credit research notes / profiles on corporates including industry outlook - Relative Valuation based on technical indicators including spread, duration, convexity and yield - Municipal issuers credit review report for general obligation and revenue bonds - Must be able to manage client engagements on a fully independent basis - Should be able to play an active role in various product/process development exercises for the client - Working on pilot projects with stringent timelines - If required, manage 1-2 junior team members and train them on building domain/sector expertise Ideal Candidate - Candidate should have done MBA (finance) or CFA - Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment where you need to push yourself all the time - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Mature individual with a professional work ethic, and high degree of ownership and accountability
