The Sachdev Group - Analyst - Finance/Accounts - CA

We are looking for an Analyst for our Management Reporting team, which is a part of the Financial Operations group. The team provides analytical reports and in-depth analysis of the firms' expenses to senior management. Team responsibilities include supporting processes related to expense and time allocation and firm-wide budgeting while driving technology projects to automate and enhance these processes.

Primary Responsibilities include:

- Working closely with the COO, CFO, Business Unit (BU) heads to provide reports showing actual vs. budget and Y-o-Y changes in expenses with key highlights and detailed commentary on deviations.

- 3-5 years of work experience financial planning and analysis related work like - budgeting, forecasting, expense and variance analysis

- Handling expenses-related ad-hoc requests from above-mentioned stakeholders and groups like Investor Relations (IR), Corporate Development (CD), Tax, and Legal & Compliance, etc.

- Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all recurring processes, such as monthly expense allocation, year-end activities, audits, etc.

- Change management: Understanding, analyzing, and incorporating changes related to the expense chargeability in expense allocation and reporting

- Driving technology projects to build tools for reporting and analysis, streamline workflows, and improve user experience.

- Be the first point of contact and reviewer for the work done by junior team members

The ideal candidate should have a Masters degree in finance or a Chartered Accountant degree, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in reporting or financial planning and analysis-related work like budgeting, forecasting, and expense and variance analysis. Prior experience in automobile service industry is an added advantage. Attention to detail, proficiency with MS Excel, strong analytical skills, and good written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with senior management are required.
