We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Technology with extensive experience having driven technology product development. This is a multi-faceted technology leadership role encompassing a wide range of responsibilities, such as being a thought partner with program leadership to make our programs tech-first in approach, providing hands-on engineering guidance to the team in fast-prototyping programs, managing technology enablement for large-scale programs that require interacting a diverse set of stakeholders, and spearheading technology transformation of horizontal function. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator and an expert in technological development.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Leading a team that partners with the product managers and delivers technology products and capabilities to specification, on time, within budget and at quality.

- End to end responsibility for the software product development process and being accountable for solution delivery at scale and at quality

- Building a team of technologists that are experts in identifying technology trends and developments to solve problem statements and business requirements identified by product managers.

- End-to-end Software solution selection and managing the implementation process in case of off-the-shelf solutions

- Driving technology strategy including Build-vs-buy decisions and owning the associated delivery and resource management strategy.

- Vendor selection (product engineering and software services vendors as necessary) and resources management

- Acting as a mentor to team members.

- Managing technology budgets and time frames.

- Ensuring adoption of latest technology development frameworks and processes as may be relevant.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or Masters in Computers Applications.

- Masters in Computers Science or related fields is a plus.

- 10-12 years working in a technological role with at least 3 years managing teams.

- 3+ years leadership experience.

- Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology.

- Exceptional team management skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication.

- Ability to delegate efficiently.

- Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.

- Skilled in managing a diverse set of stakeholders and influencing without authority
