Manager - Franchise Consulting

The Manager - Consulting is a leadership position within the company and reports to the Head of Franchise Support or the CEO. The Little Gym (USA) is the world's leader in providing after school sports and education services to kids between 4 months and 12 years of age. We teach gymnastics to children with the goal of building confidence in them. See below for more details.

About "The Little Gym":

The Little Gym is growing rapidly as an organization in India. We currently have 13 operational centers in the country with an additional 6 more centers under development. We expect to add between 10-15 centers each year with the goal to have at least 100 centers in the next 4 years. Globally "The Little Gym" has over 400 locations worldwide and impacts approximately 200,000 children each and every week.

Each center has approximately 6 people and is headed by a Center head. Centers are either owned by the parent company (COCO - Company owned company operated), Franchise owned franchise operated (FOFO) or Franchise owned Company operated (FOCO).

The Consulting Department:

The key function of the department is to work with franchise owned centers and to help guide and consult with the owners to successfully run their own operations. This is a dual function that focuses both on Sales Consulting (Revenue Focus) as well as consulting them on how to run an efficient operations organization. The department is expected to play a strategic role in mentoring owners through inputs and suggestions, and to help owners navigate the challenges in running a successful operation. Some of the key functions are:

- Help set clear revenue goals for each center

- Break down all goals into specific sub goals with clear deliverables

- Strategize and suggest ways to ensure execution of the activities that will deliver those goals

- Help owners measure, monitor and improve all sales and revenue processes to deliver success

- Help design and implement new processes that will help owners run better operations

- Help owners use technology systems for data analytics to measure all processes

- Lead by example by engaging with parents and customers (and demonstrate the sales process)

- Mentor and inspire the teams to achieve goals. This is a very people driven business

- Micro manage where necessary the owners process so as to enable them to do so independently in future

- Build and execute empowerment systems and processes to enable center heads to be effective

- This position is responsible for the overall revenues of all franchise centres and will have both targets and a variable incentive plan

Operations:

Although each center is headed by a center head and their primary function is revenue responsibility, they are also equally responsible for day to day operations. Therefore, and by definition, the Manager Consulting is also responsible for guiding owners on the operations of the company.

- Implementing strong operational processes that align the team to the delivery goals

- Help Setting clear operational goals by function and by teams

- Help owner understand metrics and data analytics

- By helping suggest solutions to any operational challenges

Desired Skills :

- 3 to 5 years of Sales & Operations experience

- Strong knowledge of sales systems at an organizational level

- A deep understanding of the sales processes (B2C and B2B)

- Excellent communication & Negotiation skills

- Proven leadership skills having managed sales teams before

- Strong customer orientation and people skills

- Strong Analytical Skills and problem-solving skills (Must be a numbers person)

- A strong orientation to systems and processes (Both to design new ones and implement existing ones)

- An MBA is required

- Strong writing skills
