The Sr. Merchandise Planning Analyst will be responsible for monitoring all metric and marketplace operations for the merchandising team. He/She will offer insights on ways to alter merchandise assortments in order to increase revenue and minimize loss. He/She will be an excel expert with strong analytical and reporting skills and experience in fashion/lifestyle retail industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. Reporting & Analytics Identify and analyze trends in the following areas: - Customer Analytics: - Analyze customer behavior and generate insights that will lead to revenue growth - Report customer cohorts, category cohorts, customer product affinity etc. - Suggest metrics to track, that will strengthen customer insights Product Analytics: - Develop benchmarks for product performance and give feedback to the Merchandising team - Track and report the following on a daily/weekly/monthly basis: - Inventory ageing reports - Sell through reports - Collection analysis - Product returns analysis - Sunday Steal analysis - Sale analysis - Store P&L - Reporting and ad hoc analytics 2. Marketplace Management : - Lead and manage end-to-end coordination for marketplaces including planning product assortment for them - Maintain optimal inventory levels in the backend. Track, manage and upload the style catalog - Scheduling & coordination of deliveries/returns of merchandise from marketplaces 3. Inventory Allocation & Flow Management : - Supervise EBO Inventory levels and regular replenishment - Coordinate with Store Managers to fulfill stock needs while being the on-ground touchpoint for the retail team. Make regular store visits Key Touchpoints: Content, Merchandise, Customer Service, Operations, Retail teams Education and Experience: - Bachelors/Masters in Business/Retail Management/Fashion Business Management with 4+ years of experience with a retail fashion/lifestyle brand with an omnichannel presence Desired Skills: - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools - Strong analytical skills to analyze data and draw insights - Excellent attention to detail - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priories - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
