About The Role :

As Strategist, Business Development you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through extensive market analysis, preparing an airtight acquisition strategy and ensuring seamless and successful execution of the same. The role will directly impact HoABL's key metrics and help us deliver outstanding value and experience to the end consumer.

What will you work on?

Strategic Planning:

- Analyze market trends to identify emerging opportunities and prepare detailed proposals for acquisitions based on target customer persona, accessibility, topography and business objectives.

- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate feasibility of land development projects, through detailed Cash Flows, IRR, NPV and Scenario Analysis.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive development plans for land projects.

- Keep abreast with major developments in the land acquisition market and develop a knowledge library of best practices.

- Prepare short and long-term detailed acquisition strategies in direct coordination with organization's leadership with a focus on increasing efficiency and reducing risk.

- Develop built to last systems to identify lucrative acquisition opportunities and a systematic approach towards the relevant stakeholders.

Business Development:

- Initiate and lead conversations with relevant stakeholders to acquire land parcels.

- Establish and maintain quality relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, brokers, investors, and local government authorities across target markets.

- Lead negotiations with landowners, brokers, and other parties involved in land transactions.

- Conduct due diligence to assess the legal, environmental and regulatory aspects of land acquisition.

Business Intelligence:

- Prepare timely and accurate analysis of real estate trends and forecasts.

- Analyse market data, industry trends, and project performance to identify areas for improvement.

- Identify potential risks and propose appropriate structure to mitigate risks.

What can make you a good fit?

- Master's in business administration or equivalent degree from Tier 1 Institutes.

- 8+ Years of proven experience in business development, land acquisition, or real estate development with a knack for zero to one initiative.

- Strong knowledge of the land development industry, including market trends and regulations.

- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills to build relationships and close deals.

- Excellent analytical and financial skills to assess project feasibility and evaluate investment opportunities.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Self-motivated, result-oriented and ability to work independently.
