The Durbar Store - CoFounder - Digital Marketing

The Durbar Store is a research and design focused startup in the furniture production and retailing space. It was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Mumbai. The founding team for the business is being put together. Once the team is together, the Company would be incorporated in Mumbai and commence operations. Our vision is to be the leading international designer, producer and retailer of traditional hard wood colonial and ethic furniture.

Currently we are looking for a digital marketing co-founder to join the team. They could start working with us part time over nights and weekends with the understanding that it would eventually require full time commitment. We are looking for people with intense passion for what they do and drive to create the next big furniture business. We are seeking folks with any of the following experience:

- Ability to manage all social media platforms and campaigns including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.

- Knowledge of SEO and SEM based marketing

- Good content writing ability to be able to post to social media platforms on a regular basis

- Good understanding of branding, ATL, BTL

- Ability to design marketing promotions

Equity stake. No cash compensation until the Company is self-sustaining / receives adequate funding.

We are targeting FY 18 (ending March 31, 2018) for getting the business operational with at least one company owned company operated store. August 30, 2017 for getting our founding team in place and our product prototypes ready by Oct 31, 2017. We will target angel funding by Dec 31, 2017 and first store launch by March 31, 2018.
