Responsibilities : - Guide the process of developing products/category specification based on limited input from end users - Identify suppliers and evaluate their capability from commercial and technical points of view - Identify technical deviations and commercial departures and propose solutions - Conduct plant audits and prepare all related documentation/deliverables - Expediting and QA/QC work for on-going projects - Technical clarification on multiple categories (Capex/Opex) throughout the procurement process - Internal and external project updates (when required) and ensure relevant parties are informed of status - Produce documentation to support and satisfy client's requirements - Manage suppliers and clients through strong personal interaction and communication - Maintain good relationships with clients and suppliers/contractors - Manage risks through entire project process, solving unexpected problems as needed Requirements : - Professionalism, good ethics, honesty and integrity - A bachelor degree or above with Engineering or related major - Background in mechanical, mining, heavy industry (manufacturing) or chemicals industry with a minimum of 7 years work experience as engineer - Procurement (or manufacturing) project management knowledge and skills are essential - In depth technical/engineering knowledge in relevant categories - Ability to organize and present facts and arguments in a persuasive and convincing manner - Good research and analytical capability - Good communication skills with multi-culture offices and team work ethic - Proficient in the use of computers and commonly-used business software - Excellent English, both written and spoken - Ability and willingness to travel
