Key responsibilities: - Client management: The candidate is expected to liaison between clients and senior management of the firm while independently handling day to day operations on transactions - Business development: The candidate is expected to take an active part in Business Development activities for the firm and will be expected win mandates for the firm. [A percentage, of the successful candidates-, variable compensation will be predicated on her/his ability to bring new business for the company] - Pitching material preparation: Managing a team of Associates and analysts to prepare marketing material for clients including components like market and industry landscapes, financial analysis and valuations, target companies- profiles and benchmarking, pricing and market information - Financial Analysis: Analysis and interpretation of financial statements including performing trading and transaction analysis, modelling and valuations (DCF, LBO, Merger modelling) - Documentation: Structuring the proposal and preparing Information Memorandum, credit notes and other transaction related documents for submission to Private Equity Investors/ Banks - Research: Assisting senior stakeholders in the team to assimilate and interpret company and industry information from a variety of data sources - Handling any other adhoc requests from clients Background & Qualifications: We are looking to induct a result-oriented, aggressive and self-motivated professional to our Advisory team. The successful individual should have prior experience in Investment Banking / Private Equity / Corporate Finance Advisory along with a strong background in Business Valuation in addition to excellent communication and client management skills The opportunity is a client facing front-end role and includes responsibilities across the transaction lifecycle in its scope.
