As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Associate Growth Manager/Growth Manager to join our team and oversee the growth and success of our government exam YouTube channels.
Role Overview:
As an Associate Growth Manager/Growth Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing YouTube channels dedicated to government exam preparations. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to increase channel subscribers, views, engagement, and overall channel performance. This position requires a creative mindset, strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the target audience, the ability to establish deep relationships with educators, and the art of delegating tasks effectively.
Must have - Creative, High Agency, hard-working, Art of Delegation, Team Management, and intent of Contributing Individually too in a Team setup
Nice to have - Past Experience working with Creators with more than 1 Million+ Subscribers or EdTech Youtube Scaling Experience
Responsibilities:
- KPIs are Youtube Views, Subscribers Gained, Watch Time, and Revenue generated through Faculty
- Develop and execute growth strategies for YouTube channels focused on government exam preparations.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Create engaging content ideas, video concepts, and thumbnail designs that resonate with the target audience.
- Collaborate with content creators, video editors, and graphic designers to ensure high-quality and visually appealing videos.
- Establish deep relationships with educators to enhance content quality and provide valuable insights for exam preparation.
- Delegate tasks effectively to content creators and coordinate project timelines to ensure the timely delivery of videos.
- Optimize channel performance by implementing SEO best practices, monitoring analytics, and making data-driven decisions.
- Plan and execute YouTube advertising campaigns to drive channel growth and increase subscriber base.
- Monitor and respond to user comments, feedback, and inquiries to foster engagement and build a loyal community.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest YouTube trends, algorithms, and best practices to maximize channel visibility and reach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and analytics, to align strategies and achieve growth objectives.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to channel growth, engagement, and revenue generation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA in Marketing preferred). Or B.Tech from IIT, NIT, etc with a relevant experience in Youtube
- Candidates with prior experience in scaling youtube channels to 5M Subscribers (Preferred, not mandatory)
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, growth hacking, or YouTube channel management.
- Proven track record of successfully growing YouTube channels or online communities.
- Strong creativity and ability to develop innovative content ideas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and ability to derive insights from analytics tools (e.g., YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics).
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for YouTube.
- Familiarity with video editing software and graphic design tools is a plus.
- Passion for education and understanding of government exam preparation is preferred.
- Ability to establish deep relationships with educators and collaborate effectively.
- Strong delegation skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and project timelines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
