Territory Sales Manager - Retail

We have an opening with one of our client for the position of :

Job Title / Designation - Territory Sales Manager (Retail)

Job Location - Mumbai

Area of Operation - South and Central Mumbai

Duties and Responsibilities

- Ensure implementation of Sales strategies to deliver objectives within allocated accounts

- Continuously monitor competitor activities, conduct competitor analysis, keep abreast of market trends

- Monitor the performance of distributor within the region.

- Achieve primary and secondary sales ensuring effective distribution of Company’s products

- Reach out to new set of customers through expansion into new geographies and new market segment

- Implement contact management strategies and regular meetings with distributors

- Recruiting competent sales people for his team

- Focus on all round development of sales team by training, continuously motivating, rewarding their performances and deal firmly with non-performances

Qualifications- -Graduate (any discipline). MBA/PG in Sales & Marketing/Business Management will be preferred

Experience Band - 3 – 5 years

No of Team Members - 7 people

Experience specific to any organization/sector

- 4/5 years’ supervisory level experience in FMCG company handling Mumbai market. Relevant experience in FMCG- Home and Personal care segment

- Sales Management, Planning and Operational Skills

- Qualitative and Quantitative Problem Solving Skills

- Good Communication Skills.

- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
