Terra Food - Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis

Job Summary :

The Financial Planning and Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Controlling, Budgeting, Forecasting & Long-range Planning processes for the company as well as providing ad-hoc business reports.

Duties/Responsibilities :

1. The candidate will monitor the actual financial performance and compare to budget and forecast projections.

2. Analyze and interpret variances, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to the functional teams where required.

3. Deliver files & reports/ month-end / monthly forecast / annual budgeting reporting packages that support management decision making.

4. Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting and supporting audits.

5. Analysis of overhead under/over absorption indicating root cause also performing cost/benefit analysis and analysis of inventories.

6. Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions.

7. Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax, internal, external audits and reviews.

Required Skills/Abilities :

1. Preferred knowledge of Power BI to present insights to management

2. Strong analytical skills and affinity to numbers

3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
