Job Summary

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving demand and building lasting client relationships within the US Healthcare Insurance payors market. This dynamic position requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of B2B SaaS solutions. Your focus will be on identifying and engaging key decision-makers, conducting outbound prospecting activities, and collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure successful lead handoffs.

Focus Geography: North America

What You'll Do:

- Client Engagement and Solution Presentation: Identify and engage key decision-makers within healthcare insurance organizations, presenting tailored solutions to address specific needs. Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.

- Outbound Prospecting and Lead Qualification: Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling, to generate new sales opportunities. Qualify leads through effective questioning and discovery to determine fit and level of interest.

- Market Analysis and Research: Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback. Identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement to contribute to strategic decision-making.

- Product Knowledge and Communication: Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying updated on industry developments. Effectively and strategically communicate the value proposition to prospects, setting up qualified meetings for the sales team.

- CRM Utilization and Reporting: Utilize CRM software, including working knowledge of HubSpot, to track and manage leads. Update customer information and activity information as per the defined playbook. Generate insightful reports for effective decision-making.

Experience You'll Need:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent. An MBA would be an additional advantage.

- Professional Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in B2B software demand generation, qualification, and appointment setting activities. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding lead generation/SQL targets.

- Industry Understanding: In-depth understanding of the US Health Insurance industry, including its regulatory environment, market dynamics, and key stakeholders.

- CRM and Sales Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software, with working knowledge of HubSpot considered a plus. Utilize other sales tools effectively to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate insightful reports.

- Results-Oriented Track Record: Demonstrate a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding lead generation/SQL targets.
