Job Title : Financial Planner - API
Job Description :
Purpose :
- To facilitate financial target setting, performance reporting & providing insightful
- Information pertaining to the Business Unit's performance.
Roles & Responsibilities :
The incumbent will be responsible for the following activities :
Management Reporting :
- Prepare and report Daily/Monthly/Quarterly Reports on Sales,analyze variances, trends and identify the highlights /lowlights for business progress
- Prepare Sales and Throughput database,Identify variance and reasoning for movement vs Budget, Previous year and Latest Estimates
- Prepare monthly MIS statements {for P&L,Sales, Cost variance, Operating Expense, KPls and Regional P&Ls) and Insights generation
- Prepare Quarterly Analytical reviews of Sales {both IGAAP and IFRS) and Gross Margin, Analyze Top products, perform variance analysis. (Price/volume/Customer), report the relevant business reasons post Interaction with business teams
- Assist in preparing presentations for business performance reviews with the Business Head & CFO
Annual Budgeting and Latest Estimates :
- Collate sales demand estimates from Sales team
- Interact with account managers to understand the business scenarios andidentify theopportunities and risks
- Prepare P&L statement for Sales team
- Prepare the Latest Est mates of P&L every month based on current business situations; participate in LE review discussions and provide insights I leads to improve the performance and report any shortcomings
Automation and Analytics projects :
- Ensure adequate support to design and implement various automation projects as a part of FP&A role.
- Ensure regular upkeep of various systems (Dcube,BPC, Kinaxls etc) for seamless reporting
- Do internal/external peer benchmarking on a regular basis to track business performance with relation to the competition and the Industry
- Adhoc analytics projects and insights generation as per management needs
Business Support :
- Help cross-functional stakeholders (Corporate and GMO Finance, S&M, SCM, Tax etc.) to meet their financial information requirements and resolve their queries on need basis
Academic Background and Key Experience Requirements :
- A CA/MBA Finance with 2-4 years of experience
- In the areas of Financial Planning, Budgeting etc is preferred
- Conversant with MSoffice (Excel,PowerPolnt)Is must and SAP {basic is preferred)
