TechnoServe - Financial Analyst - CA/ICWA

Financial Analyst 6-9 years experience - to work with India Financial Controller to monitor and review field budget execution/ burn rate status and project effective forward spend strategy (MIS to be created and owned by the Finance team), Variance Analysis, Project costing and financial budgeting

- Responsible for reviewing financial management (budget versus spends including sub-grants, taxes, direct charging), review financial reporting for donors etc. and monitoring financial close-out of projects.

- Manage a calendar of donor financial reports, and work with project and finance teams to ensure their timely delivery

- Responsible for developing and updating annual budget and annual plan in coordination with India Country Director, Financial Controller and PD team.

- Coordinate with the grants and contracts team for managing donor contractual requirements and manage donor reporting

- Support the India Country Director and Project Directors, coordinate with Project Managers to develop work plans, project budgets and staffing plans to help plan rollout during start-up phase

- Review compliance with donor contractual requirements and reporting to US HQ; 

- Ensure that all proposals meet the documentation, due diligence, and compliance requirements of the donor. 

- Create/develop financial models along with the partners and translate the same on to an MoU; 

- Serve as the principal liaison between financial institutions, including banks, micro finance institutions, impact investors and other financial service providers 

Key requirements :

- Minimum of 5-10 years of finance, project costing, financial & business analysis, budgeting, value chain financing and enterprise development

- Understanding of various kind of financial reporting, MIS, data management, project proposal management

- Good experience of financial modelling and ratio analysis

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Qualification : MBA/Masters in Economics, Finance or related fields, ICWA, CA Final
