Technology Services Director

- With a proven track record in designing, delivering, and managing complex marketing technology projects involving both database and interactive technologies. Candidates should have a strong grasp of database architecture, data modelling, and system integration. He or she should also have solid grasp of marketing concepts and display the insight and know how to apply technology to meet client marketing needs. In addition, the candidate should have strong communication (written and oral) skills and able to collaborate with client and Cequity internal teams

Responsibilities

- Manage a team (including direct, indirect and matrixed) and project timelines for build and manage environments. Environments may include several client solutions or a single large project within an overall enterprise class solution. Must be able to lead team without supervision.

- Research and propose cost effective technical solutions to address business challenges such as improvement of development, processes and governance standards.

- Participate in new business development opportunities by contributing to pricing and solution design. Provide technical leadership in the organization.

- Performing resource management, forecasting, leadership, and teambuilding.

- Provide guidance to client service team on technical capabilities, staffing and infrastructure needs. Proactively identify and address project risks.

- Empower and guide team through the Software Development Life Cycle.

- Enforce operational excellence and compliance. Managing the quality and timeliness of update and deliverables. Ensure that production procedure, change management, documentation and control are followed and continuously enhanced.

- Manage career paths by coaching and mentoring direct and indirect reports.

- Contribute to design and continue improvement of our marketing platforms/solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong client interfacing background required

- Proven ability to mentor reports and team members

- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non technical audiences

- 8+ years experience with software implementation from requirement through design, development and client acceptance

- 8+ years experience in relational database design, development and support

- 3+ years of data Integration using Web-services experience

- Strong knowledge of marketing concepts highly desired

- Prefer demonstrated experience leading a team of between 15-30 individuals

- Experience with both OLTP and Data Warehouse environment

- Strong knowledge of ETL, Business Intelligence and Campaign Management tools and applications (SSIS/DataStage/Informatica/Pentaho, T-SQL/PL/SQL, Business Object/Cognos/Microstrategy/Tableau, Unica/SAS/Neolane, Perl, etc.)

- Experience with multiple RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza etc)

- .NET Integration experience is highly desired.

- Ability to multi task and project manage in high productivity environment.

BE in Computer Science or related discipline; strong project management and organizational skills
