Technology Lead - C/C++ - Broking Firm

- We are looking for a hands-on technology leader who has been there, done that and wants to change the way how it works in India using leading-edge technology products and solutions.

- The day to day job will involve architecting and building challenging, scalable applications to handle a lot of data and many I/O events. This includes building new tools for automating, monitoring, optimizing the processes.

- You will be leading the technology role in defining the IT strategy, technology architecture, stack technology design choices and help the team of engineers, tech leads in designing the best-in-class experience for our customers.

- We are not expecting the ideal candidate to know everything. He must be able to stretch, accept the challenge, roll up his sleeve, self-learn, apply oneself and implement/execute.

- More importantly, you will lead by example, set the bar very high, provide Digital-first thinking, and inculcate the right startup culture and values for the team.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Define the Technology Strategy, Technology Roadmap, defining the right tech stack for the business

- Hands-on coding experience

- Leading the team to bring the right engineering culture and innovation

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Heads and other vendors and external stakeholders in getting the right technology for the business

- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

- BE, B Tech, BCA in Computers or relevant stream from a reputed institute.

- Around 12-16 years of relevant experience in the IT Software / Service Industry (preferably from Fintech/consumer internet domain)

- Experience in the broking industry will be an added advantage.

- Expertise in C/C++ coding and Socket Programming

- Good understanding of infrastructure architecture, systems administration, network administration and storage administration.

- Understanding of IT budgeting, tracking, reporting and cost optimizations.

- Good overview of IT Security policies and their implementation.

- Form, lead and motivate the team.

- Good understanding of Cloud technologies

- Experience in following the DevOps process and agile practices.

- Solid understanding of the application development life cycle, including automated testing and building

- Good Project Management skill. Estimate, Track, Deliver project in tight deadlines.
