Techno Brain - Data Mining Analyst

Position: Data Mining Analyst

Experience: 4-6 Years

Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and interpret data to develop and implement predictive models.

- Work with team members to proactively identify key indicators, validate results and monitor success.

- Use experience in multivariate statistical analysis (linear & logistic regression, categorical analysis, cluster analysis, statistical sampling, decision trees, multidimensional scaling, etc.).

- Liaise with Analyst teams and Management to understand their requirements, ensuring strategic business objectives are met and to co-ordinate usability and user-acceptance testing.

- Gather, develop and own business requirements, and work with client to ensure these requirements are delivered successfully and on schedule.

- Provide data and analyses in a timely manner and verify the accuracy of data analyses produced by self, or others using existing BI systems.

- Plan and manage the deployment of a global, production-level, enterprise systems.

- Should be willing to travel to client locations on short notice.

Requirements:

- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Statistics or Quantitative Management.

- 3+ years of experience as a Data Mining Analyst, and Expert with Data Mining tools like Oracle Data Miner, R analytics, SAS, etc. Prior experience on global projects / global systems implementations.

Desired skills:

- Strong knowledge of Oracle database.

- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving capabilities; ability to come up with solutions for complex business problems.

- Familiar with all phases of the data mining project lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support.

- Self-starter with can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership.

- Ability to analyze and write SQL queries to perform data analysis tasks.
