1. Lead or manage the development and evaluation of potential wind energy business opportunities, including technical due diligence, environmental studies, permits and proposals.
2. Create wind energy project plans including project scope, goals, technical specifications, tasks, resources, schedules, costs and contingencies.
3. Provide engineering technical support to development new wind turbines and evaluate existing ones.
4. Manage energy assessments, engineering or construction activities to ensure that wind project needs and objectives are met. Manage project costs to stay within budget limits.
5. Support negotiations involving tax agreements or abatement's, power purchase agreements, land use, or interconnection agreements.
6. Ensure project quality, conformance to specifications and compliance with regulations.
7. Write reports with conclusive recommendation to document wind farm test results.
8. Provide recommendations to improve wind turbine performance, reduce operational costs.
9. Carry out Wind resource studies and guide juniors in forecasting and scheduling.
1. Engineer (BE/B.Tech), Masters preferred
2. 7 to 8 years of experience in wind energy sector
3. Strong knowledge about wind and renewable energy sector specifically
a. Techno-commercial understanding of Wind projects and compliance.
b. Understanding of overall wind farm construction, generator installation, testing, commissioning and getting outputs on SCADA systems.
c. Ability to assess wind damage due to weather changes and to determine the performance of different types of structures in those weather conditions.
d. Ability to gather, review and analyze relevant information effectively.
e. Understanding of wind turbine component failures.
