Technical Specialist - Networking

Opening For Technical Specialist-Networking at Noida

- Solution Architect and PreSales experience on Routing, Switching and Security skills

- Implementing, configuring, supporting and maintaining all aspects of local and wide-area networking.

- Creating and maintaining process and technical documentation for all relevant processes and technologies.

- Managing relationships with relevant vendors, network personnel/counter parts in India and other Progressive offices across the globe

- Will take initiative to trouble shoot and provide incident reviews once issues are resolved.

- Provide support and direction to field engineers for any network related issues.

- Work closely for remote infra management and other technical staff to troubleshoot, design, plan, implement, and support solutions.

- To provide network engineering support for the region predominantly focused on our growing business in India and Middle East

- Excellent understanding of current networking systems including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, data circuits, load-balancers, wireless networking etc

- Excellent understanding of all IP-based protocols and security technologies

- Excellent understanding of dynamic routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS etc.

- Excellent understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, including MPLS, VLAN, STP, trunking and ether-channel.

- Extensive operational experience with network security (ACLs, VPN, L2VPN, IPSEC and GRE)

- Knowledge of HP Networking, Juniper, Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, Foundry & Alteon products.

- Good project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills.

- Strong written/verbal skills.

- Knowledge of Visio diagramming & network documentation

- Should have a logical and methodical approach to problem solving

- Knowledge of Voice technologies is an advantage
