To provide guidance to Manager, Tech Executives &officers & ensure implementation of projects; render technical, infrastructure & administrative support through interactions with internal & external partners and also enable the creation of new ideas and their implementation.
Project Management :
1. Manage, plan & review Projects .
2. To ensure Project targets (Time, Cost & Quality) are being met
3. Review experimental work done, design verification done by reporting executives/officers
4. Define and review the experimental strategy for each project
5. Ensure balance of work among team members
Technical Support
1. Ensure that root causes are identified for design/application related customer complaints
2. Develop preventive solutions to predict problems, based on analysis of data from plant and customer line
3. Visit customers where TS are not able to resolve issues
4. Establish existing & new products at customer site
People Management:
1. Identifying and bridging skill and competency gaps of every team member
2. Preparing career path for team members in the group
3. Impart Induction training & other trainings
4. Defining KRA of team members and it's review
Process Management:
1. Ensure systematic adherence of experimental design inputs (charters etc.) & outputs (notebook formats etc.)
2. Ensure ISO& IATF processes compliance
3. Ensure Oracle entries for accuracy
5. Identify projects
6. Ensure APQP
7.Ensure changes are made in formulation wherever required, after pilot and and production scale up..
Innovation:
1. Ensure new ideas are routinely generated, evaluated and taken up
2. Documents are being prepared & uploaded by the officers
3. Ensure learning from own projects and problem solving are captured and documented by the officers
