Technical Project Manager-WFH-Waterfall Key Responsibilities : - Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects - Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget - Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility - Ensure resource availability and allocation - Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress using appropriate tools - Develop full scale project plans - Lead the planning and implementation of project - Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques - Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques - Report and escalate to management as needed - Successfully manage the relationship with the client (internal) and all stakeholders - Perform risk management to minimize project risks - Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation - Help organization is building a strong PMO - Assemble and coordinate project staff - Manage project budget - Manage project resource allocation - Plan and schedule project timelines - Provide direction and support to project team - Quality assurance - Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders - Present reports defining project progress, problems and solution - Project evaluations and assessment of result Essential Attributes for the position : Skills : Bachelor's degree/PG with 8+ years professional experience - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills - Ability to work in a team Must have skills : Creativity, Flexibility, Adaptability, Negotiation, Conflict Management, Communication Skills - Should be able to work under pressure and still maintain creativity - Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering - Proven working experience in project management in the Telco/ Financial/ Enterprise - Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies (in past). - Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management - Knowledge of project management techniques and tools - Direct work experience in project management capacity - Proven experience in people management - Proven experience in strategic planning - Proven experience in risk management - Proven experience in change management - Proficient in project management software - Must be aware of Project management techniques/ tools. - Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Project Management Tools. - PMP certification is mandatory.
