Technical Product Head - FinTech

This role is for a leading FinTech Company

Job Description

- Experienced (12+ years), entrepreneurial and hands on technology leader who has built teams from scratch. Recruiting and building a team will be a high priority in the initial stages

- Has successfully built and delivered scaled up & distributed big-data or adtech platforms. Expertise in building machine learning algorithms for personalisation/targeting along with a very high performance serving/delivery infrastructure is required.

-Experience in building intuitive, consumer-oriented experiences and interfaces for Enterprise software will be required.

- Knowledge of mobile app development both android and iOS is a must.

- Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed. Conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations.

- Build and prototype analysis pipelines iteratively to provide insights at scale. Develop comprehensive understanding of data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for both products development and sales activity.

- Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams. Work closely with engineers to identify opportunities for, design, and assess improvements to our products.

- Make business recommendations (e.g. cost-benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis) with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.

- Research and develop analysis, forecasting, and optimisation methods to improve the quality of our products; example application areas include ads quality, end-user behavioural modelling, and live experiments.

- Expertise in delivery of products in the cloud as well as on-premises will be required for the job. Ability to design and architect products that could balances these requirement will be an important skill for the job. Knowledge of public clouds like AWS/Google/Azure is a must.

- Ability to work with business teams to prioritise work based on business requirements but judiciously balance it with product roadmap and features.

- Demonstrated expertise in delivering in fast iterative and agile methods. Conversant in modern software engineering practices for develops by leveraging modern container based technologies and CI/CD pipelines.

- In depth understanding of data security and protection of Personalised data in Banking and other regulatory environments is desirable. Experience in building products for local as well as international banking and financial markets will be advantageous.

- Motivate and maintain an extremely young and energy team. Ability to mentor and guide the tea
