Position : Pre-Sales Manager

Role Specifications:
Responsible for developing customer solution in the sales cycle, based on understanding
Customer needs and aligning those needs with the spectrum of client Higher Education product offerings.
Shall support the sales team with the required product information, communicate sales strategies effectively and support sales team in the entire liaison required
As a Pre-Sales - Solution Architect, your role will be to engage customers from diverse industry verticals (along with the Sales teams), understand / anticipate their critical business issues or pain areas, create a business solution / value proposition, and make sales presentations to the client organization on solutions built around client Higher Education product offerings.
Key Responsibilities :
Work with Product Management and Marketing to help define / refine sales messages and ensure sales packages are developed and messages communicated to sales team
Production of responses to Requests for information and Requests for pricing
Work with Sales personnel to provide product, business and technical knowledge in support of pre sales activities :
Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs etc.
Responsible for staying on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors
Responsible for preparing for meetings and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors
Develop product centric selling strategies
Monitoring and managing the technical pre-sales environments
Developing and generating the sales and related reports for analysis
Skills Required:
1) Understanding of business processes in diverse industry segment is a must.
2) The candidate should have the ability and prior experience in articulating business benefits of software solutions to key decision makers in the client organization.
3) Experience in creating business proposals, filling up of complex RFPs, creation of solution papers, etc. Must be highly skilled in creating.
Mandatory Skills :
- 5+ years experience in Technical Pre-sales exposure in Higher Education sector.
- Experience in presentations,Demos on products to clients and team.
- Exposure in CRM and ERP.
