Technical Pre-Sales Engineer (5-9 yrs)

Location : Noida

Job Summary:

The Technical Pre-Sales Engineer supports sales productivity and closure of deal by securing the - technical close- in complex solutions. The incumbent collaborates with the Sales and Technical Service to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- To provide the appropriate solution to the customers that facilitates a right first time installation, including correct pre-installation and handover data.

- Application validation.

- Perform feasibility studies for potential applications, demonstrations and sampling.

- Responsibility for actively managing customer projects and delivering against customer time frames

- Perform and assist where needed on pre-installation visits

- Conduct training, both internal and external. Externally for customers where needed and internally to develop a program of product knowledge for sales and technical.

- Facilitate the launch of new products and applications and providing analysis of these new applications.

- Partnering with the sales teams on mammoth projects.

- Provides coaching and professional development to team-member, sales colleagues in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.

- Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within the customer firms. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.

- Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams of potential risks in deal closure.

- Strong technical knowledge and skills on the Company's products and services.

- Ability to demonstrate logical thinking process to troubleshoot and leverage on materials and internal resources to resolve situations.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.

- Experienced level of customer relationship management skills.

- Strong communication, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

- Customer-oriented, personable and a team player.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Instrumentation only.

- Minimum 5 to 7 years of Service experience with technical pre-sales or consulting role in a technology based company with complex B2B interactions.
