Technical Manager - Travel Domain

Brief Introduction to the client:

The leading provider of IT solutions in the TRAVEL INDUSTRY.

Global LEADER and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, providing transaction processing power and technology solutions to both travel providers (including full service carriers and low-cost airlines, hotels, rail operators, cruise and ferry operators, car rental companies, travel insurance companies and tour operators) and travel agencies (both online and offline).

Role: Technical Manager ( Senior Management )

Relevant job experience:

8-10 yrs of overall experience with at least 2 year of experience as Tech Lead.

- Preferable to have Agile Scrum development experience.

- Preferable to have travel domain experience.

Education: Good academic (Preferably reputed colleges)

Responsibilities:

- Ensuring deliveries (sprint) meet & exceed expectations in terms of quality, scope of work & schedule

- Contributing majorly in Technical Design/Architecture decisions.

- Providing Technical guidance/mentoring to the team.

- High sense of ownership, commitment, responsibility, accountability

- Adherence to the process and supporting generation of metrics

- Demonstrate consistent increase in predictability, efficiency and productivity

- Play the scrum master role for the scrum team

- Self motivated

- Innovative & creative

- Good Communication & Collaboration skills

Strong Java and J2EE with Design Pattern experience.
